1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
1.1 Our Commitment
At Chedr, we stand behind the quality of our services. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not completely satisfied with our AI-powered financial and tax services within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, you can request a full refund—no questions asked.
1.2 Guarantee Coverage
This guarantee applies to all subscription plans: Monthly Starter ($29/month), Annual Pro ($299/year), and Enterprise custom plans. The 30-day period begins on the date of your first successful payment.
1.3 What You Get Back
If you request a refund within the 30-day guarantee period, you will receive a full refund of your subscription fee. The refund will be processed to your original payment method.
1.4 Service Access
Upon requesting a refund, your access to Chedr services will continue until the end of your current billing period, unless you request immediate cancellation.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within the first 30 days. After the 30-day guarantee period, you may cancel at any time to avoid future charges, but refunds for the current billing period are issued at our discretion based on usage and circumstances.
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within the first 30 days. After the guarantee period, refunds are pro-rated based on the unused portion of your subscription. For example, if you cancel 6 months into a 12-month subscription, you may receive a refund for the remaining 6 months, minus any used services and a 10% processing fee.
2.3 Free Trial Users
If you cancel during your free trial period, you will not be charged and no refund is necessary. Simply cancel before your trial ends to avoid any charges.
2.4 Enterprise Plans
Enterprise plan refunds are governed by the terms of your individual contract. Please refer to your Enterprise Agreement or contact your account manager for specific refund terms.
3. Refund Process and Timeline
3.1 Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved, we will process your refund within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and payment method.
3.2 Payment Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited back to that card. If you paid via bank transfer or other methods, the refund will be returned using the same method.
3.3 Notification
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed. This email will include the refund amount, the date of processing, and an estimated timeline for when you should see the funds in your account.
3.4 Bank Processing
After we process your refund, your financial institution may take an additional 3-7 business days to post the credit to your account. Total refund time typically ranges from 8-17 business days from request to account credit.
4. Non-Refundable Services
4.1 Filed Tax Returns
Once a tax return has been filed with the IRS or state tax authorities through our service, that filing fee is non-refundable. This includes federal returns, state returns, and amended returns. Once filed, significant time and resources have been expended, and the service has been fully delivered.
4.2 Professional Review Services
If you have purchased and received a professional review of your tax return by a CPA or tax professional, those fees are non-refundable once the review has been completed and delivered to you.
4.3 Add-On Services
One-time add-on services that have been completed, such as custom tax optimization reports, audit support packages, or specialized consultations, are non-refundable once delivered.
4.4 Third-Party Fees
Any fees charged by third parties (such as government filing fees, bank connection fees, or payment processing fees) are not refundable by Chedr, as these fees are paid directly to external parties.
5. How to Request a Refund

5.2 Account Dashboard
You can also initiate a refund request directly from your Chedr account dashboard. Navigate to Settings > Billing > Request Refund. Follow the prompts to submit your request.
5.3 Required Information
To process your refund efficiently, please provide: (1) Your account email address, (2) The subscription plan you wish to refund, (3) The date of your original purchase, (4) Your preferred contact method for confirmation.
5.4 Response Time
Our support team will acknowledge your refund request within 1-2 business days. We will review your request and respond with approval or any questions within 3-5 business days.
